Speech and Language Services is a Special Education Program provided by a Licensed and American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) certified Speech / Language Pathologist for eligible students. Services are provided following an Individual Education Program (IEP) in small group, individual session, or in a classroom setting. An Admission, Review and Dismissal Committee (ARD) that consists of the parent, classroom teacher, administrator, Speech and Language Pathologist and other support staff develop the IEP’s. Activities are developed to improve the child's educational communicative needs in the areas of articulation, language, voice, and or fluency.
