The Content Mastery Center (CMC) is designed to help students master the content of what is being taught in the general education classroom. The CMC teacher works with the general education teacher to help the student with a learning disability to be successful. We work with students K-5th grade on a daily basis. Students are allowed to use the CMC for any subject that they may need some extra help with. Students may come to CMC after the classroom teacher has delivered instruction. The CMC provides a small group or a one to one teaching environment. In order for a student to be successful the general education and CMC teacher may modify a student’s assignment based on the individual needs of the student. Our goal is to help all students achieve academic success. |
